All The Ships At Sea is the ambient instrumental companion piece to 2014’s nautical-themed My Father Was A Sailor, inspired by Glenn D’Cruze’s father’s life at sea.
It’s comprised of 13 electro-organic film-like compositions, each one titled after a ship D’Cruze’s father sailed on with the Merchant Marines while based in Glasgow, Scotland during the 1950’s.
Included is a rendition of Sailing By, the well-known musical accompaniment to BBC Radio’s late-night shipping forecast.
